My name is Whitney Bowman (Buster) and I recently married my high school sweetheart, Billy Bowman. We have three beautiful dogs and we reside in Argyle, TX. Kids will be further down the road.
I graduated in May of 2009 from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX with a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Photojournalism. I have interned at several, great places while in school. In the summer of 2008, I interned in the Sales and Marketing department at the Texas Motor Speedway where I had the opportunity to take pictures at a major race as well as all the events that were associated with that race.
I also shot for Holeshot Magazine, a Texas based publication highlighting dirt bike racing. I was assigned to cover the Texas Winter Series which I took pictures, interviewed racers and wrote stories to accompany the photos.
While at North Texas, I interned as a writer and photographer for the North Texas Daily, the college newspaper. I had the opportunity to interview, write and take pictures for news stories in and around UNT and Denton.
Currently, I work for Rennhack Marketing Services in Grapevine, TX as a Client Relations Associate. We sell incentive programs to community banks and I help ensure these programs are running smoothly and essentially helping the banks grow their business.
I also work seasonally, on weekends for TSS (The Sports Section) taking youth sports portraits. I love working with kids and this is so much fun!
I am still very much focused on Photography and I would love the opportunity to take your family’s photos for any occasion. Some events I have photographed are weddings, senior portraits, birthday parties, sports and family portraits. Please keep in mind that I do not have a studio and all my work is done on-site or in an outside setting of your choice. I am always thinking of new and exciting ways to capture your photos and I also welcome your own ideas for your shoot.
If you are planning an event where you would like to incorporate a slideshow of pictures for your guest to view, I can construct this slideshow as well. I have created several in the past that have included many scanned and digital pictures accompanied with music.
